Silvereye

Different views of the eggshell. Julie Clarke 2012
Darting around the backyard this morning was about half a dozen of the tiniest birds I've ever seen - at first I thought they were large butterflies. They are way too fast to photograph, however I believe that they may indeed be Silvereye. And since they are so small this probably explains the discarded half, light blue, absolutely delicate eggshell that I found in the garden a few weeks ago, it measure 2.5 cm (presumably in its intact form it would be 5cm).
