20,000 HITS - Anything but human

WOW! We've reached 20,000 hits. That's amazing, because it was only 12 weeks ago that I was saying how happy I was that we'd reached 10,000 and it's all because of you lovely people who continue to read daily posts and those who find blog posts through random Google searches. So, something to ponder.
Could you be anything but human?
I'd rather be anything but human.
I am anything, but human.
Might we consider being anything but human?
Humans are, anything, but human.
Relevant of course in light of the fact that there has been a call to end welfare for aborigines, the fighting in Libya, our anxieties about 'boat people', the court case involving journalist Andrew Bolt, and our general considerations about the value of human life.
Yesterday started reading Robert Dessaix's On Humbug, I hope to be able to give you an account of it at another time. Tutoring this morning and will be having a busy week, so my posts may be limited. Until then,  please continue to read and comment.
