Synapse #4. Acrylic paint on canvas. 45 x 35 cm. Julie Clarke, 2010Yesterday I had a painful red eye and so I went to see an optometrist, who, after examination said I had an eye inflammation. Regardless, I painted for a few hours and then today painted for a few more. I think this painting is nearly finished. We just had two large downpours and a little thunder and lightening ~ the flowers in the garden are going to love the soaking. Not much more to report except that I've begun reading 'Original Skin' a novel by Maryrose CusKelly. I won the book in a competition organised by the Alumni Association at Melbourne Uni.
