This one was done in a frenzy ~ I felt like I was on a roll yesterday afternoon, even though I really should have been resting. The lines reveal the obsession, the compulsion to continue. I've decided that the next painting is going to be earthy colors or a cacophony of green, for the color of the grass in yesterday's sun was hyper-real ~ I wondered at some point whether I was hallucinating its brilliance ~ the green too green ~ the sky too blue.
