I am currently showing six Prismacolor pencil drawings on Waterford 200 gsm paper at Preview International Fabrics in the Richmond Plaza (near corner of Church Street and Bridge Road). Opened 10 am to 5pm most days of the week. The drawings, entitled SUCCULENTS are shown above on the two walls.
Made with soft wax, Prismacolor (North America) pencils encompass a range of vivid colors that allowed me to express the way I felt about the simple elegance and structure of these ornamental plants.
The three framed drawings were included in an exhibition held at the Neighbourhood Justice Centre in Collingwood, which ran from October 2015 to March 2016 and was curated by Janelle Johnstone. This is the first time the unframed drawings (on mountboard) have been shown.
