I had a yearning to see the sea this morning so I headed off to South Melbourne beach expecting to see rough waves because of all the wind we've been having over the past few days. I ended up walking along the beach front for about ten minutes because although it was 11C degrees it felt like 8C degrees and the sea was quite calm. There were quite a few ships close to shore and on the horizon, people playing ball games on the beach, owners walking their dogs and of course, joggers. Next time I have the desire to see water I may just go down to the Yarra River ~ although that's not really the same experience.
