Port Melbourne in July

I took a trip to Port Melbourne beach yesterday and in particular, Station Pier. The Spirit of Tasmania was in dock waiting for its evening sail and the ever watchful guard said that I wasn't to take photographs of the security cameras on the front of the ship, so, I walked along the nearby pier to take some unhindered by his security concerns.
The foreshore is beautifully developed amidst the relatively new restaurants and residential blocks. It's all rather beautiful and the tram terminus is about fifty meters from the beach, most convenient since I'd traveled for about and hour and a half from Hawthorn East on public transport. Apart from the temperature being quite a few degrees lower than the CBD, it was refreshing to walk and take in the views and, speaking of views, the clouds were in abundance and creating all kind of amazing patterns in the sky. Here are some of the scenes I captured.
