Camellias

A little dis-associative yesterday

a thought or feeling too hard to bear

still

the nervous system protects

shuts down the body in soporous bliss

& the mind

red globules finally awaken

outstretched -

clusters itself in deep, dense green.

I can say no more, except

that the Camellia's are finally in bloom

and are a joy.
