Labor Party vote next Monday

If the Labor Party caucus does not vote for Julia Gillard to continue as the Australian Prime Minister next Monday, it will be tantamount to admitting that they were wrong to oust Rudd in 2010 and they will be establishing a culture that will destroy the Labor Party!  Yesterday Gillard finally stated the reasons why the inner circle could not work with Rudd, and I quote:

In my view he is an excellent campaigner.... but Government requires different skills. It requires consistency, purpose, discipline, inclusion, consultation. It requires you to lead a big team ... Kevin Rudd, as prime minister, STRUGGLED to do that. Kevin Rudd as prime minister always had very difficult and very CHAOTIC work patterns. The government under Kevin Rudd had entered a period of PARALYSIS.

It is unfortunate that the Labor Party didn't give these reasons at the time, then Gillard wouldn't have been perceived as 'sticking the knife' in Rudd - a term most often used in the media and on social network sites when describing Gillard and her rise to leadership.

Since it has been stated in the media and by many government ministers that Rudd continues to undermine Julia Gillard and that he doesn't appear to have changed his style, why would they even consider giving him the important role of Prime Minster? Surely it can't be because they believe that in 18 months time he will be able to win an election against Tony Abbott, because as far as I can see Abbot and the Liberal Party don't have any clear policies in place and they are consistently negative. Indeed, if the next election is going to be about policies, rather than personalities then we must admit that the Labor Party has achieved a great deal whilst in power. One can only hope that after the vote next Monday the media will concentrate more on government achievements rather than spending 24/7 on the minutia of internal politics and personal squabbles.

I cannot even begin to see our country run with any social or environment justice by Tony Abbot & that bunch of private school conservatives.
I hope (I am an idealist) Krudd & Gillard team up again.
I never saw Gillards' move to Labor Leadership as anything but an innovative, well planned and executed political strategy by the party to
get their best person for the job.
The fact is, Australian media is misogynist and would not have backed
Gillard, even though she is clearly a very able and willing leader.
