I decided to celebrate the NGV'S 150th Birthday today by making an absolute artwork in the form of an Apple Frangipane tart. I've already had a small slice and it's delicious. The rest of the day was spent feeding hungry Magpies, going for a long walk, doing some shopping and re-reading parts of Othello. You've just got to love that line of Emilia's when she said of men: They are all but stomachs, and we all but food; To eat us hungerly, and when they are full, They belch us. One last thought before I finish this short blog post, I'm already missing Spooks but am happy that at least it's been replaced with a science fiction drama called Outcasts.
