I decided this morning that rather than mediating comments, I would allow an open and free exchange of ideas, even though I may from time to time receive vitriolic responses from anonymous individuals. So, now you can make a comment and immediately see it underneath my post (well, I imagine it will be immediate). You should be aware that comments made about any of my posts prior to two weeks ago will still be mediated, because I don't want people adding to writing from ages ago, just for the fun of it. However, if you want to comment on something that I wrote ages ago, you could simply post it underneath this one. I look forward to your comments. I woke before 6 this morning and am planning to do my shopping early before it gets too hot ~ it's going to be 31 degrees in Melbourne today. Then I'm going to bake a dessert because I'm having a friend over to share dinner with me tonight. It's already very sunny here. The birds are singing, but otherwise quiet. Four tiny buds have just opened on the rose bush growing in the garden outside my kitchen window. All is well!

ReplyDeleteI just don't understand why people are nasty and so personally critical of Julie. I have not read anything acidic in this blog by Julie, and I have been reading for six months. Maybe the ones complaining should take their own advice and not play the victim (don't read if you find it a problem)
ReplyDeleteJulie writes well, posts interesting photo's, reviews the arts and allows us the privilege of sharing events in her present and past ( she does NOT play the victim). She has been hurt but turns this into a positive by allowing other to have greater understanding of issues beyond their experience. A bit more understanding and less prettiness please! Lauren
