Julian Assange + always have a drink before you leak

Julian Assange + WikiLeaks. Over 600,000 people have signed the petition to support freedom of expression and of the press. If you would like to sign the petition, it may be found at http://www.avaaz.org/en/wikileaks_petition/96.php
WikiLeaks current site may be located at:
http://213.251.145.96/
However, anything you find interesting about the cables has probably already been picked up by the press and circulating on the Internet.
Maybe I'm just suspicious, but, one way of hiding information is to release it amongst a glut of other information in the hope that it will be overlooked. Eventually an excess of information will result in supply exceeding demand and people will become bored.
I'm reminded of the British TV sitcom of the 80s, Yes Minister and here's a lovely little quote from one of the episodes I found on Wiki. It's a conversation between the Rt Hon Jim Hacker, MP and his principal private secretary Bernard:

Episode Three: The Death ListHacker: Ask Walter Fowler of The Express to meet me in the House tonight for a drink. Annie's bar.
Bernard: What for, Minister?
Hacker: First law of political indiscretion: always have a drink before you leak.
[Bernard wheels in a petition from the archives against surveillance, containing 24 million signatures.]
Bernard: Shall I file it?
Hacker: Shall you file it? Shred it!
Bernard: Shred it?
Hacker: No one must ever be able to find it again!
Bernard: In that case, Minister, I think it's best I file it.
