Cyber-punk/goth ~ The Matrix meets urban chic ~ black clothes, leather boots, lots of studs. Where can I get one of those over shoulder bags? Wearing black IS very Melbourne, and it's not only those in the arts who wear it (well, they actually wear 'best black'), go to any coffee shop and the waiters are wearing black attire. It's also the preferred color for beauty consultants in David Jones and Myers. Of course, some would say that black is not a color at all. The paradox is, that you can stand out when you wear black, but you can also disappear into a sea of people wearing it.
