I worked on this on and off during yesterday afternoon. I'd found a wonderful, old, silver-plated candlestick holder (made in England) in the local op shop late morning and when I came home I'd noticed that Yarra Council had finally removed some of the abundant boughs from the Plane Tree outside my place. Five noisy Bearded Ravens had taken up residence in the tree and, although too high up to be successfully photographed, I managed to do so. I could still hear them making their distinctive 'fark, fark' and clicking calls as I was thinking about and constructing this image.
