Here is the sky over my place last night at 6.30pm as the cool change brought dark clouds and wind that buffeted the trees. The temperature, which had been about 39C degrees for most of the afternoon dropped down to around 16C in five minutes.
It's been raining this morning and dark clouds continue to roll across the sky. Sunlight reveals itself as white glare that breaks through in patches. I haven't yet heard the warble of my Magpies, but a Wattle bird is feeding her baby (which is larger than her) with some of the bread that I put out for the Maggies. It's 13C degrees now (at 7.15am) and the blue sky shown in the photograph above has all but disappeared. The sky has transformed into almost complete blanket of gray and misty, soft rain falls.
