Another one

Decay. Julie Clarke 2012 - oil pastel on paper.
I was drawing for approximately four hours yesterday. Each of these drawings took a couple of hours (they are all the same size). It's rewarding using the very buttery substance of oil pastels. Easy to blend and be spontaneous. Colors are most accurate in the digital rephotographing. Bought some more Arches Aquaelle paper yesterday, so more drawings to come next week. The wreck of the Minah appears to have great impact on the content of the drawings and obviously represents some aspect of self. I will keep exploring this, though imagine that at some point the boat will disappear?
