Quick thoughts for Saturday morning

OK, so this is just a quick post. Yesterday I had an early morning call from Lauren and we discussed my most recent artwork response in the Collisions project. I agreed with Lauren that perhaps people don't make comments after the posts because they feel that they cannot talk about art, when in fact the artworks are open to interpretation. I spent Good Friday doing almost nothing, but I did watch Jesus Christ Superstar screened on ABC TV. I watched, not because I was brought up Catholic, but  because it's a fabulous rock opera and Tim Rice did himself proud with his powerful song lyrics. I managed to make a not so good batch of Chocolate Macaroons, which may only be saved when I actually make the chocolate filling and join the not so round macaroons together. The remainder of the day I was very lazy, but did catch an old flame of mine (from 20 years ago) Renaud Jadin, play the role of the delightful French waiter in Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries Murder in Montparnasse, screened on ABC TV last night at 8.30 pm. The storm that hit Melbourne was rather loud and the wind quite fierce, and since Catholicism will never be totally disconnected from my brain synapses I did at one point think of early imagery in some religious films, which depicted a storm at the moment of Christ's death on the cross -  the storm then, was most appropriate for the day. Enough, it's Saturday, let's all arise, the shops are open and I can go out and buy some bread. The poor magpies have had to be content with anything I throw out for them to eat. This morning they haven't yet touched the left-over Penne pasta I had for my dinner last night - perhaps they don't like the sauce?!
