To all the women out there, to the amazing women I know and to those reading this blog - Happy International Woman's Day! Here's a link to some Notable Australian Women from the past. I'd like to mention the names of some contemporary amazing women, but there are way too many. However, on this day I would like to acknowledge those first women of Australia - convicts, prostitutes, criminals, bounty women, aboriginal women, military wives and free settlers, all but forgotten now, who were strong and resilient and who helped make Australia great!
