This image has me intrigued. My immediate thoughts were that the senator, who belongs I think in a Greek or Roman forum appears incredibly out of place amongst these corporate types in somewhat Trekian theatre. Is it a comment on the past clashing with the present or future? Please tell.
The pre-Raphaelites had no objection to Raphael himself, who made a much commented-upon fresco called The School of Athens in the style of the High Renaissance. By the time Zarathustra came along, Raphael's lustrous vision had darkened, and "To all those belauded sages of the academic chairs wisdom was sleep without dreams."
