I've posted this photo of Kim because this time next week she'll be back in her home town in Canada. She's been living in Australia for the past two years and some of that time she's been working at a little coffee shop that I frequent from time to time in the heart of Melbourne. Most people take your order and bring your coffee. Kim always had a smile on her face and had something interesting to talk about. I hadn't actually seen her for months, because all the coffee shops in that little lane way are always so busy, so I go where there's an available table. She thought it fortuitous that I sat down today because she's leaving Australia on Saturday. So, here it is - if you get to read this Kim, thank you for your lovely smile, your amazing service, your willingness to chat and for saying that you'll miss Melbourne and the people who live here.
Kimberly is our daughter and we see this in her everyday of our lives. We call her, a people person!
ReplyDeleteYour comments brought tears to her mom's eyes.
Thankyou, we can't wait to get her home again
Harvey and Jeanne
Well Harvey and Jeanne, Kim certainly IS a people person and that must reflect on your excellent parenting and her own beautifully developed personality.
ReplyDeleteI know that she'll miss Melbourne, but I also know she was excited about going home and seeing her family and friends again.
I'm sure that I'm not the only person who'll miss her. Love to you all.
