Sunset never lasts very long, maybe three minutes or so depending on the time of year. Sometimes if you look too long at it's sublime splendour there's not enough time to take a photo before the colors disappear. This was last night's sunset at 8.28 pm - caught just in time, for, seconds later the fiery red had all but gone. This morning that same sky is white with slight patches of grey - she hangs behind the tall block of flats in the distance, behind the trees and the sea of aerials. As I make this post, small droplets of rain have settled on the kitchen window - the air is cool, a welcome change from the heat of the past few days. I'm thinking of the amount of time that I've lived in this apartment; it will be thirteen years in July - a long time - longer than I've lived anywhere else.
