Buddhist monk. China Town, Melbourne. Photo: Julie Clarke, 2010
This afternoon, during the Chinese New Year celebrations in Melbourne I spoke briefly with a Buddhist monk who was sitting quietly on the bench of the archway entrance to China Town in Little Bourke Street. When I enquired about his name, he said it was of no consequence, but he was interested in promoting the fact that His Holiness 18th Zhong Tug Rinpoche was bringing an international touring Buddhist Relic Exhibition & Teachings to Melbourne on March 16-19 at the Kadhampa Buddhist Society of Australia, 614 Highbury Road, Glen Waverley. You take photo, you give information and so I have.
