Domenico de Clario performance. Photo: Julie Clarke, 2009 I took about a dozen photographs of Domenico de Clario's performance at the NGV Australia last Sunday, however this is the only one that came out this way. It seemed somehow to exemplify the whole feeling of the performance.
As de Clario was performing two small girls (one of them his grand-daughter, the other a friend) were playing quietly near the Volkswagen. One retreated briefly, the other stayed. I took the photo and she became what appeared as pure energy & light as she was consumed by the music and silences...
