Superhuman, looks for a revolution - Steve Middleton

Steve said: I made the image after reading you were going to the Anat workshop about the species in revolution. I recall I argued at a similar workshop that revolutions are a bit queer the image reflects my preoccupation with what happens after the revolution? :)s
It's good to see that Steve's rather cybernetic superhuman, is like Rodin's The Thinker still pondering its own existence.

Dr Steven Middleton is an artist working in the fields of robotics, virtual reality and artificial intelligence. He has worked on robot design, prototypes and animations for Stelarc. He completed his PhD on The Limited Study of Mechanical Intelligence as Media at RMIT in 2007.
