Saw the astounding Jan Sensberg exhibition at the NGV Australia on Wednesday and had a most enjoyable extended lunch with Leonie Osowski at The Secret Garden, a gorgeous little outside, under large umbrella cafe in Fitzroy this afternoon. When I was washing the bunch of spinach I'd bought to put in my Sweet Potato, Spinach and Capsicum soup I noticed this 2.5 cm green baby frog. I literally haven't seen a frog in the flesh for about three decades, so it was an exciting find. I'm hoping to keep it as a pet, but have to find a suitable container because at the moment it's sitting quietly in a plastic container.
