With considerate effort (I suffer from chronic pain), I headed into the city to see Dune 2. Unfortunately trams were banked up because Free Free Palestine people staged a sit in in front of Collins Place/Kino Cinema and I had to walk further than I anticipated. There was a considerable amount of Police Officers in attendance, suggesting that there may have been trouble. Anyway I was not so much disappointed with Dune 2, just uninspired. The persistent soundtrack was annoying and the film lacked the mystical feel & power of the females evident in Dune part 1. I gave up and walked out about 40 mins from the end. At 166 mins, it was way too long
