I've returned again to found objects with an emphasis on materials having their own aura. My focus is on textures and how their juxtaposition invites the viewer to absorb the relational properties. Each element its own agency, each in conversation with the material of the other.
Two Vintage weathered frames. The first with paper insert covered with hair, wool and acrylic paint affixed to frame with metallic pin tacks.
The second with cable ties, copper nails, transparent headed thumb tacks and rich gold acrylic paint
